American Airlines (British Airways main partner on the profitable transatlantic routes) announced recently that they're laying off some of their corporate / business travel sales staff, whilst also stating business travel has changed forever. I have no idea why they ever had so many. Emirates only have 2, globally, 1 of which is a friend. BTW, all this is quite easy to find on LinkedIn. And if you are an expert, you'll know it can be incredibly insightful for stock monitoring.
Fares have been rising for leisure travellers, and they can't carry on rising during a cost of living crisis, or can they? I don't think so, and I expect Airline stocks like IAG (owners of British Airways, Iberia & other brands) will be worth monitoring for opportunities.
